Don't you just love the weekend? Friday has got to be one of the best days of the week for most of us. You anticipate all week on what you're going to get up to on the weekend, and if you're anything like me, you end up doing nothing all weekend, come to the realisation that it's Sunday and do it all over again, promising yourself that the next weekend will be different. Yes we've all been there, unless you're the adventurous type then consider yourself lucky but for me, it's a continuous cycle (perhaps that can be a resolution this year? it's still January).
The best part of the weekend is obviously the fashion for me, you get to be a bit more experimental, you can get away with a lot more. I find that I'm more daring and to me, nothing is more daring than these GLAMIATOR heels. Whether they are thigh-high shoes or boots, you simply cannot ignore the fact that their here to stay. We've certainly evolved a lot over the past few years in terms of fashion. Thigh-highs have become a fashion staple as opposed to the former 'lady of the night' status it was attached to.
I really enjoy styling these; it's a matter of finding balance. For this look I wanted to create something glamorous and chic. I make the shoe the main focus of the entire look and draw the eye to it as much as I can. For this look I paired them with this long-sleeved romper/jumpsuit and to add a touch of glamour, I chose this drop necklace and bedazzled clutch (do people still use the word bedazzled?). A faux bob was the order of the day and no weekend look would be complete without a bold lip.
Experiment this weekend!
