Gone are the days when winter fashion consisted of clothing that looked like fat suits in every shade of brown under the sun. Winter fashion has evolved, I find it more glamorous, more interesting and so much more than summer fashion will ever be. I've always taken a fresh approach to winter fashion, I'll go as far as saying that I plan my fashion year around the winter season which lasts three short months in South Africa.
This season has been all about oversized knits, two-piece sets, monochrome and comfort. It all began with a simple two-piece knit set and before I knew it I was swooning over fully knit jumpsuits with matching floor-length coats, which easily serves as a blanket for two. I find this look comfortable, chic and oh so snug. I paired it with the hottest boot this season, a classic polo neck with button details and belted the jumpsuit to add a more feminine shape. I finished the look off with my favorite studded bag and deep lip.
