BARELY THERE

I've been working really hard on the blog and I'm happy with the frequency of blog posts lately. As you know, I'm constantly working on improving the amount of content I produce each week which is hard because I was born a perfectionist. I'm constantly over analyzing and criticizing my work, which can be both a good thing and a bad thing; I think you owe it to yourself to be firm but fair, constantly seeking improvement and giving credit where credit is due.

I've always had a love for bodycon dresses but finding the perfect one can be a pain. The main objective of a bodycon is to hug your body in such a way that the fabric acts like a second layer of skin, however many retailers get this wrong. Am I the only person who thinks a bodycon should be as efficient as wearing a pair of Spanx? As women we tend to buy things just for the sake of buying and that should never be the case. I believe in investing in your wardrobe the same way you would in a good piece of furniture. Quality over quantity.

I went for a rose gold theme for this look, from the makeup right down to the accessories. I kept the look simple pairing it with statement earrings and a jeweled bag. For shoes I went with my absolute favourite Ronald Sassoon 'Kayla' heels and a sleek ponytail.

Hope you enjoy!
