It's been the longest two weeks EVER! I haven't had Wi-Fi for a week and a half so I basically haven't had a life for a week and a half. Its funny - you never quite realise how heavily your life depends on it until you're no longer in possession of it. Sure there's some free Wi-Fi here and there but it doesn't quite compare to lying in bed while getting some work done (don't judge me). I certainly haven't been lazing around sipping cocktails all day. I took this forced 'offline detox' to find new ways to improve the blog and close a deal on a special collaboration that I'll be announcing next week.
For those of you who follow me on social media, you'll already know that I recently joined a brand new weekly online radio show called Fashion Lab. It's an exciting new venture that I'm extremely proud to be part of. It focuses on dissecting the business behind fashion so for all those who are fashion and business savvy, head over to www.cliffcentral.com/fashion-lab-podcasts to have a listen and share your thoughts.
Okay! Life update complete! Winter is well on its way for those of us in the Southern Hemisphere so for the next four months it will be nothing but boots, coats and everything in-between. I wore this particular look out to dinner with friends and felt the need to recreate it for the blog (cause that's how I roll now). Its relaxed but still has a stylish flare to it. Constructive layering is definitely going to be my go to style for this winter, especially when going out. I hate the idea of eating or performing any kind of activity with my coat on so it's the perfect solution to a pressing (dressing) problem. For accessories I opted for an evening clutch and a beanie, as odd as the combination may seem, I think it works. Is there really a distinguish between daywear and nightwear these days? Fashion is fashion!
Have a fabulous week and I'll definitely be blogging a lot more now so be sure to check in.
