SAFW: DAY 2

I'm back and hopefully to stay this time! I finally got my camera back this week and I'm ready to play catch up. I can't think of a better way to make a comeback than fashion week. The past few days have been somewhat of a blur, it consisted of me rushing home from work in order to make it to each show, which resulted in 18 hour days.

On Thursday (22 October 2015) I had the pleasure of attending the Sunglass Hut New Talent fashion show and what an inspiration. Being a young designer myself, I love supporting up and coming designers. Each collection was unique and beautiful in its own way, which was rather refreshing. Moments like these make me realise how talented South African designers really are and as a blogger it's important for me to showcase this, so as I grow nearer to the first anniversary of my blog, one of my goals going into the second year would be to work with local designers on a regular basis.

This was one of my easiest looks to create; it was all centred around this jumpsuit I've been eyeing from Ronald Sassoon. I spotted it about a month ago and just knew that I would rock it to the first show I attend. Since fashion week has no rules, it only made sense for me to pair it with my diesel coat; quite frankly, I'd find any reason to wear it. I finished off the look with this "sold out" clutch from Zara, my signature red lip and sleek hair.
