I rarely do prints on prints, I suppose this is a subtle case but I'll take credit for it nonetheless. The fact that these pieces are from different stores, bought in different seasons is a win for me. Give me culottes any day and I feel like I can conquer the world! I'm a huge pant girl and I've always been that way, so much so that I'm willing to ditch the skirt forever (I obviously won't but you get the point).

I fell hard for the off-the-shoulder trend; perhaps it had something to do with the fact that I loved it as a little girl. I vividly remember that I had a black crop top version that I couldn't get enough of; elasticated at the shoulders as well as the waist. I'm a lot more polished now but somewhere deep inside, that little girl is still in me and as I grow and develop in life, she reminds me that she's still there.

About this look

I love the contrast of the wide spaces between the lines in this lightweight blouse against the slim lines in the pant. I decided to pair the look with a feminine necktie so that my neck wouldn't be completely bare; finishing the look off with a bold red lip and my absolute favourite shoes from last season, which transition nicely into spring.
