I love sunny Autumn days, that's what I love most about Africa; even though we slowly approaching the colder months, the sun is still as strong as ever. I thought that I'd be in full winter gear by now but alas, here I am serving some leg. Speaking of which, I fractured my foot! Those who follow me on Instagram already know that my latest fashion accessory is a giant boot for the next six weeks... that's right, I said six weeks. So I decided to squeeze in one last fashion post before I got fitted (don't tell my doctor though). Once I got over my depression (which lasted about 5 minutes) I decided that this would be a great time to incorporate beauty posts. I've been meaning to do that but never quite got around to it so since my back is against the wall, the timing couldn't be more perfect.
I can't believe that Kaylista will be live for six months on the 1st of June. Time really does seem to fly when you're having fun and I'm taking in every single moment. So much has changed in the past six months, when I look back, all I had was a passion-filled idea and it's beginning to open doors for me. I've tried many different things in the past that didn't quite seem to work out but when one door closes, God opens seven more, which is exactly why it's so important to remain faithful even in the most trying times.
The more I write, the more I seem to lose myself to a point of no return. I've often forgotten to actually write about the inspiration behind my looks and find myself having to edit it in but a picture says a thousand words right? I haven't done a glam look in a while and when I looked at this coat, the opportunity presented itself. I've been all over this high ponytail lately, I prefer my hair pulled back; it comes with an attitude and gives you an instant facelift. I paired the coat with a simple black jumpsuit and bold accessories.
Hope you enjoy and thank you for visiting!
