Spring has sprung and I haven't done a single blog post; I know... shameful! But I promise the reason behind it is valid. A few weeks ago I experienced major problems with my camera, which slowed down my work significantly so I had one of two options; either I have it repaired or I continue struggling through every post. What I didn't expect is how long it would take "4 - 6 weeks" I gasped in awe at the sales assistant, I certainly wasn't prepared for that. So as I'm writing this post I still haven't received it but the show must go on, with or without it. That being said, please be patient with me regarding the amount of blog posts this month and possibly next month too, however, I've made alternative arrangements until then; fingers crossed that it all works out for the best.

On a positive note I really love the 70's trend right now, I'm generally not the kind of person to jump onto the bandwagon of every trend but I consider simple pieces in neutral colours to be timeless. Speaking of which, when I saw this two-piece set from Zara I just had to have it. I knew from the first glance that it was made for me; completely different from anything I've purchased before but at the same time so true to my style. It's a cross between the 70's and the pyjama trend that was prominent at New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2016. In order to finish off this look I needed something that would compliment the simplicity of the look but give it something a little extra at the same time. I looked no further than this beautiful extended neckpiece from Nicci Boutique which has become my latest obsession. The fact that it incorporates gold, silver, rose gold and black all in one piece makes it the most versatile accessory in my collection to date.
