The idea of shooting outfits that would look great on campus came about when I posed the question to my Snapchat followers: what would you like to see on the blog? The suggestions came pouring in and this is but one of many still to come. As a blogger, I’m constantly seeking for new inspiration and I can’t think of a better way to find it then simply asking the people I engage with on a daily basis. It’s of utmost importance to me to provide you (my readers) with inspiration but it’s equally important to connect with you at each stage of your life and college/university is a big one.
Fashion on campus screams comfort to me. Now I know there are a few girls out there who rock heels on campus everyday but I was not that girl. Getting from point A to point B with art material the size of my body seemed impossible in flats so heels were a no show for me, however, I still had every intention of looking stylish.
About this look
I had fun with this look and it happened by accident (confession alert). It all started on a chilly Saturday morning while I was getting ready to head out to class. Rummaging through my closet, I came across my long lost skinny black pants. These pants look great with just about anything but I had a long day ahead so comfort was key. I pulled out this long black t-shirt and remembered that I’d just purchased these awesome cutout boots (currently obsessed). Perfect! I looked out the window and the weather was grey “I need a jacket”. Time was not on my side so I grabbed my lightweight bomber jacket and made my way out the door. The black lips however, is a story for another post.
Hope you enjoy!
