Unless you’ve been living under a rock for most of 2019, you know that animal prints have made a huge comeback. It never seem to go out of fashion for me though, animal print is the original neutral, from accessories (cue the earrings) to clothing. Apart from your usual leopard and zebra print, snakeskin came out on top this year; it’s nothing new, in fact I blogged a snake trench coat a few years back (here) however, we’ve seen it like never before this year. Since we’re on the topic of snakeskin, I’ve got the cutest blouse from a local designer that I’ll be sharing next week.
Okay, moving on! I’ve always been a high-waisted kinda girl, you can’t pay me enough to wear low rise anything anymore. I’ve completely abandoned my 90’s birthright, don’t quote me on this though, I’m a woman and I’m allowed to change my mind as many times as I want but for now, high-waisted everything. I’m particularly intrigued by matching belts lately, so much so that I’ve incorporated it into my spring/summer range, which I will be blogging (promise).
One of many things that I will be taking from the nineties is brown ombre lips. I’ve been wearing cork lip pencil by Mac Cosmetics with almost every lip colour lately and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. I’ll be sharing all my favourite lip combos in a later post (yes, we’re finally adding beauty) but for now, I hope you enjoy the way I styled this look.
