How it works
Three steps, then
you're in.
No applications, no commitments. Fill out the intake form, try your first class, and decide from there. We make it small on purpose.
Fill out the placement form
A short online intake form — a few questions to figure out your level and what you want from Spanish. Kayla reviews every one personally.
Get matched, try a class
Kayla writes back with one or two class options that fit. Come to your first class and we'll feel it out together — right level? bump up? bump down? No pressure either way.
Continue as long as it serves you
Group classes run twice weekly (3 hours total) and are tuition-monthly — no fixed end date, no contracts. Stay for as long as you're growing.

Common questions about classes
I'm a complete beginner. Will I be lost?
Not at all. New group classes start from page 1 of absolute-beginner Spanish. If a new student tests higher than that, Kayla places them in an existing group closer to their level.
Do I need to live in Puerto Vallarta?
No — some students join in person at the Puerto Vallarta studio, and some join live online from across North America. The two-camera setup means online students see both the board and the classroom — it feels almost like sitting at the table.
What levels are available right now?
All beginner levels — from absolute zero through the end of beginner. Intermediate is in development. Personal classes can go wherever your level takes them.
Can I try a class first?
Yes — come to your first group class and see how it feels. If it's not the right fit, you don't pay for it. If you decide to continue, that first class is included in your first month's tuition.
What if I miss a class?
Group classes are recorded, so you can always catch up on a missed session before the next class. For personal classes, message Kayla directly — the specifics are worked out with each student up front.
Can I switch between formats?
Yes. Students sometimes start in a group and switch to personal (or vice versa) as their schedule or goals change. Just message Kayla.
What happens if I miss a class?
For group classes: You'll get the recording so you can catch up at your own pace. (No makeup class — but the recording covers everything we did.)
For personal classes: Generally, a missed class is a missed class — I'm reserving that time for you, which means it's time I'm not teaching someone else. That said, life happens. For real emergencies, just message me and we'll work something out.
